I am R Subramanya, the millionaire-maker.
If you were hoping to read my educational qualification beside my name, I am sorry to disappoint you. I seldom list my academic credentials because I don’t believe they are important. There are so many broke people with formal training that I almost feel it discredits me more than help me.
For all the skeptics out there, yes, I am a Certified Financial Planner. Yes, I am certified by AMFI, IRDAI and AAFM. But what qualifies me the most to teach about money is that I have been VERY stupid with money. Very to an extent that I lost EVERYTHING.
I earned lacs and lacs of rupees a month for years but I had nothing to show for. My income was handsome enough for people to envy but I always caught myself wishing for more. ALWAYS.
I know what it feels like to be scared and scarred because of money.
I know what it feels to have never-ending EMIs.
I know what it feels like to be so deep in debt that you can’t see the top anymore.
I know what it feels like to not have enough money!
So, what qualifies me the most is – I have been very stupid with money AND I have learnt to master it.
Therefore, I know all that you can do wrong and all that you should do right.
All the principles that I teach are tested and proven…on my own children.
I didn’t care how much they scored in their tests as much as I cared about teaching them about money for the first 15 years of their lives.
As a result, I have raised 4 financially-brilliant children and helped thousands raise theirs.
This is what I would like to be known for.
